1. Purpose of Policy
This Return and Refund Policy outlines the rights of our clients and the procedures in place regarding cancellations, rescheduling, returns, and refunds for training courses and services provided by Care Wise Academy Limited.
As a professional care training provider, we are committed to delivering high-quality, legally compliant courses. However, we understand that circumstances can change, and this policy ensures transparency and fairness for all bookings and payments made with us.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
- Individual learners
- Group bookings (agencies, employers, or care organisations)
- Online course purchases (if applicable)
- In-person and in-house training sessions
3. Booking & Payment Terms
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- A booking confirmation and invoice/receipt will be issued upon payment.
- Group or corporate clients may be offered invoicing arrangements with agreed payment terms (usually 7–14 days).
4. Cancellation by the Client
a. Individual Bookings:
- 7+ days before training date: Full refund (minus £10 admin fee)
- 3–6 days before training date: 50% refund or free reschedule
- Less than 72 hours: No refund, but one-time reschedule may be offered (subject to availability)
b. Group/Corporate Bookings:
- 14+ days before scheduled date: Full refund or reschedule at no cost
- 7–13 days before: 50% refund or one-time free reschedule
- Less than 7 days: No refund, but alternative arrangements may be offered depending on availability

5. Cancellation by Care Wise Academy Limited
In rare cases, we may cancel or postpone training due to:
- Insufficient participant numbers
- Trainer illness or emergencies
- Venue or logistic issues
- Circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, public health alerts)
In such cases, clients will be offered:
- A full refund
or - An alternative training date at no additional cost
6. Non-Attendance Policy
- No refund will be issued for non-attendance without prior notice.
- Certificates will not be issued for unattended courses.
- Clients may be allowed to rebook at a discounted rate at our discretion.
7. Rescheduling
- Clients can request to reschedule up to 3 working days before the course date.
- Rescheduling is free once. A second reschedule request may attract a £15 admin fee.
- Reschedules are subject to availability within 60 days of the original booking.
8. Refund Processing Time
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.
- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method or as agreed with the client.
9. Online or Digital Training (if applicable)
- Once digital course content is accessed or downloaded, refunds are not permitted under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (due to instant access to digital goods).
- If the online course has technical issues that prevent access, we will provide support or offer an alternative option.
10. Substitutions
- Clients may substitute another person for the same training slot with prior written notice at least 48 hours before the session.

12. Your Rights
